Dr. Walker joined the medical staff at St. Clair Hospital after completing nine years of active duty in the U.S. Air Force. After graduating from the Air Force Academy, he earned his medical degree from Georgetown University where he graduated with honors. Dr. Walker completed his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at the University of California San Francisco where he was recognized for surgical excellence as a Chief Resident. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery in both Orthopedics and Sports Medicine.
Dr. Walker has extensive experience in the treatment of cartilage injuries, joint preservation procedures, orthopedic trauma and total joint replacement. He has lectured nationally and internationally in sports medicine and disaster management. Dr. Walker has also been the team orthopedic surgeon for California University of Pennsylvania since moving to Pittsburgh.
Dr. Walker lives in Upper St. Clair with his wife, Denise, and their three children.
